I really hope this film gets a cinema release in the UK. Websites state that it is to be aired on the BBC but seeing Hutchence performances on the big screen would be far better. Fingers crossed.

A violent event strikes Michael and changes his life forever, fracturing his sense of self and robbing him of his connection to life. Terrible how she behaved whilst married with 3 kids. The sexual magnatisum is fever pitch here. Bob would have been fuming seeing this. A must see for any INXS fan or those who just grew up with them. Thank you Richard for gathering and creating such a special film. For over two decades, Michael Hutchence was the beloved frontman of iconic Australian rock band INXS. Though the frontman took his own life in 1997, the ARIA Hall of Famer’s legacy has lived on through indelible songs like “Need You Tonight” and “Never Tear Us Apart”. Now, the filmmaker behind the videos for those and numerous other INXS singles, Richard Lowenstein, will explore the life, music, and sensuality of Hutchence in the new rock documentary  Mystify. Having premiered back at the Tribeca Film Festival earlier this year, the film is today receiving its first trailer. Compiling archival footage pulled from Hutchence’s own home video collection as well as those of his friends and family, Mystify seeks to paint a complex portrait of a sensitive rockstar unsure of how to handle fame. As the preview suggests, the doc pulls back the curtain on the charismatic performer whose life was altered tragically by a single violent event that changed his personality for the worse. (Read:  The Top 50 Albums of 1987) Mystify will premiere in Australian theaters on July 4th, with a wider release yet to be announced. Regardless of when it debuts Stateside, fans will be able to hear a pair of previously unreleased songs from the late INXS frontman on the movie’s soundtrack. I really love the song at the end, feels like he's right here with us all

Don't think I even moved from my seat I was so engrossed in Michael's story. I loved how it was made with just footage of Michael and his life, and the voices of those in his life just talking about their time with him. I was so emotional at the end I could not hold back my tears for such a beautiful human being.
So grateful to see this documentary about a man and his his band who brought so much joy in their music to so many. I miss you so much 😢😢😢. MH was Beautiful.
